Rosaline (Rosa) Muraya has over 13 years of experience and technical expertise leading the development and strategy of programs focused on girls’ education, gender equity, and inclusion across Africa. Rosa serves as an advisor for Engeza, an initiative of The Gates Foundation aimed at providing support for foundational literacy and numeracy programs across Sub-Saharan Africa, and prior to joining our team, she served as Kenya Country Director for Education Development Trust where she worked closely with both the public and private sector to advance girls’ education. Rosa’s passion for empowering girls through education is inspired by her own life’s journey.
